Access-control manufacturer LiftMaster recently announced several personnel changes in its marketing and sales departments.
Bob Rainey, who’s held multiple leadership positions within the LiftMaster sales group, has been promoted to vice president of field sales. In his new role, he’ll oversee LiftMaster’s field sales network, maintain key top-level customer relationships, and build strategies to impact the organization’s service level and promote sales growth across North America.
“With his commitment to superior customer service and ongoing demonstration of outstanding work, we are confident he is an ideal fit for this position and a tremendous asset for LiftMaster,” said Ken Roehl, vice president of sales.
The company also appointed Jim McGinley as director of field sales, North America, to further serve its expanding sales group. McGinley joined the LiftMaster sales team in 2007.
“Jim’s exemplary performance over the past six years has solidified his position as an integral member of the LiftMaster sales team,” Roehl said. “His dedication to customer service has had a tremendous impact on our sales force, and we look forward to his ongoing contributions to the company and our valued partners.”
In his new role, McGinley will handle the day-to-day management of the U.S. LiftMaster sales team while also servicing national accounts. In addition, he’ll assist with the planning and development of sales programs as well as serve as the voice of the sales team. McGinley is a recipient of LiftMaster’s Circle of Excellence Award.
To further increase brand awareness and build upon key industry relationships, LiftMaster recently enhanced its marketing department with two strategic promotions. Todd Wilkinson and Irma Diaz have been appointed to new roles to strengthen communication and cultivate a greater demand for LiftMaster products.

Wilkinson began his career with LiftMaster in 1993 as a regional sales manager, where he increased brand presence by driving awareness of new products and innovations. In his new role as field manager, he’ll be responsible for driving the national “Don’t Chance It. Check It.” garage safety initiative among dealers, distributors, consumers, and influencer markets. Furthermore, he will identify new opportunities for connecting with customers, manage key safety messaging with trade associations and cultivate relationships with strategic industry partners in driving safety awareness.
As an associate product manager, Diaz is responsible for supporting the marketing manager by building consumer demand, sales, and brand equity as well as optimizing market share, product profitability, and market insights. She will also assist with product portfolio management while supporting the development and commercialization of new products. Diaz joined LiftMaster in 2012 as a marketing administrator and chief digital officer (CDO).
LiftMaster also recently welcomed marketing and communications professionals Miranda Wiley, Katrina Adams, Sital Belmont, and John Ronn.

Wiley joined the company in October as senior manager, of digital marketing, responsible for driving online and offline sales, brand development, and identifying e-business targets. She also leads, develops, and optimizes digital campaign strategies to meet sales and marketing objectives. Prior to LiftMaster, Wiley worked as a marketing program manager for Design kitchen, then as a freelance project manager for Sears Holding Corp.
Having previously held positions at companies such as LifeFitness and The Faucet Queen, Adams joined LiftMaster in October with new-product development experience, including analysis of new market segments, market research, and identifying the customer and consumer needs. In her new role as CDO product manager, Adams is responsible for building consumer demand, commercialization planning, and strategy for LiftMaster’s commercial product offerings. She is a key contributor to new-product portfolio management, integrated marketing planning, and pricing strategies.
In her new role as marketing manager, Belmont is responsible for overall product strategy as well as marketing and managing LiftMaster connectivity products, specifically the MyQmobile app roadmap and connectivity solutions across residential and commercial opener business units. Belmont also works as an integral part of the MyQ team and with each business unit to help align LiftMaster’s strategies with targeted end-user consumers and dealer channels.
In addition, she ensures all product offerings and solutions meet the needs of the security market through partnerships, such as Alarm.com. Before joining the LiftMaster team, Belmont gained in-depth experience in mobile app and hardware product marketing and management while serving as senior product marketing manager at Motorola Mobility for eight years.
Ronn recently joined LiftMaster as a marketing manager focused on building consumer demand, sales, and brand equity as well as optimizing market share, product profitability, and market insights. He also manages product portfolios, integrated marketing plans, and pricing strategies. Before taking on his new role at LiftMaster, Ronn was the senior product manager for Weather Guard at WernerCo.
LiftMaster recently promoted several of its key team members who have demonstrated exemplary work, company representatives said. Kimberley Jackson has been promoted to supervisor of inside sales; Frank Qualifier to national account manager.
In her new role, Jackson will be responsible for ensuring excellence in sales-driving activities and overseeing the company’s inside sales coordinators. In addition, she’ll implement and monitor sales initiatives and strategies to achieve key targets, deliver training curriculums and act as a leader and mentor for the inside sales group.
Since he began his career with LiftMaster in 2008, Qualifier has held positions as territory sales manager, inside sales coordinator and national account representative. In his new role as national account manager, he’ll be responsible for directing and managing sales and overseeing marketing and business analysis activities for a number of LiftMaster’s national OEM accounts. He’ll also be responsible for contract negotiations, prospecting, employee development, sales forecasting, and promotional activity planning and implementation.
