Highfield Door Sales LLC in Dayton, Ohio, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate the completion of its remodeled showroom and warehouse. City officials were on hand to commemorate the event.
The dealership relocated to the 20,000-square-foot building at 1350 E. Stroop Road in 2012. Owner Rodney Highfield told the source he purchased the building, a former roller skating rink, for $235,000. Another $100,000 was spent to remodel the building. Before moving its headquarters, the door dealership leased a 1,700-square-foot building on Wilmington Pike.
Highfield began installing garage doors in 1987. In 1995, he founded Highfield Door Sales with one employee. The company is a family business that specializes in residential and commercial garage door sales and services.
