Manufacturer Amarr Garage Doors will introduce its Castle Rock magnetic decorative hardware in January. The Castle Rock Collection includes lightweight, rust-resistant ABS vinyl decorative handles and hinges with UV protection that magnetically attach to steel doors.
“Normal decorative hardware looks great but has to be attached to the door using a drill and screws,” said Vickie Lents, marketing director. “In many instances, the installation of traditional decorative hardware can take a long time because the placement has to be very precise. And drilling mistakes can be unforgiving and costly to dealers.”
Castle Rock decorative hardware has passed 2,000-hour color-fade and weather-ability testing and offers resistance to discoloration or door staining. A one-year full-replacement warranty is available in the event of manufacturing defects, color fade, or premature weathering.
“Castle Rock magnetic handles and hinges are great upselling tools,” Lents said. “If a customer is unsure about purchasing decorative hardware, a dealer can easily show the homeowner how much better the door would look by quickly placing the Castle Rock magnetic hardware on the door. Just like that, the homeowner can see what the door looks like with decorative hardware and the dealer makes an easy additional sale!”
