BD Loops has revamped its Pizza Wheel & Wedge Tool for loop installation. Many loop installers use screwdrivers, paint mixers, sticks, or other tools to stuff saw-cut loops into saw-cut grooves. Those tools are not only inefficient, some can nick the loop wire and cause the loop to short to the ground, the company said in a press release.
The latest version of the Pizza Wheel and Wedge Tool sports many minor improvements including a 50 percent thicker axel for improved sturdiness. The reducer coupler is now made with schedule 80 PVC. The best improvement is the inclusion of BD Loops’ new Clean Out Hook, a handy tool that removes stubborn sharp rocks and debris from the saw-cut groove, company representatives said. It can also be used to pop out “V-Cut” yokes for easier installation. The tools are designed for saw-cut depths up to 2 ¼ inches.
